Resident Assistant (RA) Resident Assistants (residence halls and apartment living) hold academic year positions. RAs serve as the primary facilitator of a community of 25-90 residents in a specified area. The RA performs administrative, programming, and paraprofessional advising functions along with their support and implementation of student development while promoting personal, community, and global responsibility.

Scholarship Hall Proctor Proctors hold academic year positions and work with residents, hall officers, and campus staff to provide effective leadership and build a cooperative group with high personal and academic standards. Proctors work closely with their scholarship hall director and complex director.

Food Board Manager Food Board Managers hold academic year positions working with residents, the proctor, scholarship hall director and hall officers to provide quality meals and a healthy and safe food preparation and dining area. These students oversee cooking shifts in the hall and are supervised by the scholarship hall director.

Desk Assistant/Security Monitor Duties include answering the telephone, answering questions, checking-out hall equipment, issuing keys, distributing mail, making copies, coordinating hall tours, responding to emergencies, security and building safety duties, and more.

Custodial Assistant or Skilled Trades Custodial helps housekeeping staff with general cleaning, furniture moving, floor care, and room set-up. Maintenance hires students to work with skilled trades persons in carpentry, electrical, air conditioning, plumbing, landscape, painting, and special services.
