Corbin Hall

Although Corbin and GSP have separate mailing addresses, these buildings are joined and share a dining center, Academic Resource Center and student kitchen. KU’s first residence hall sits on a historic ridge near the site where the University’s first building was built in 1866. Floor plans are diverse and rooms have a variety of dimensions. The Corbin guest policy is more specific than other residence halls.
Ellsworth Hall

Ellsworth Hall features a mix of suites and updated traditional two-person rooms. Each floor or “house” is named in honor of a distinguished faculty member, alumnus, or friend of the university. The second floor has a large laundry facility and boasts a “success center,” complete with satellite campus office providing tutoring, advising, writing and composition help and career counseling. All residents in KU Student Housing are eligible to use these services in Ellsworth.
Gertrude Sellards Pearson Hall (GSP)

Gertrude Sellards Pearson residence hall re-opened in 2012. The hall also features double rooms, single rooms and four-person suites and three levels of privacy for bath: private en suite, single bath and two community baths on each wing. This new hall features the beautiful new North College Cafe with seating area open 24/7 for studying.
Hashinger Hall

Hashinger Hall is a center for the creative arts. “Hash” is located atop Daisy Hill and in 2005, it was renovated to include a small theater, studio, rehearsal and performance space for residents. The Academic Resource Center in Hashinger also houses a sheet music and script collection. Students may arrange single occupancy contracts on a limited basis.
Lewis Hall

Lewis Hall is a living environment where residents are encouraged to participate in community service activities. In 1999, Lewis Hall was renovated to offer suites. Lewis Hall rooms include: two-person rooms with bath, two-person suites, and four-person suites.
McCollum Hall

McCollum Hall, located atop Daisy Hill, is KU’s largest and most diverse residence hall. All of McCollum’s rooms are designed as two-person rooms, though students may arrange single occupancy contracts on a limited basis. The hall is coed by wing and has three wings. Students may arrange Thanksgiving, winter, and spring break accommodations.
Oliver Hall

Oliver Hall is located on Naismith Drive, nearby is Allen Field House. Oliver Hall enjoys the convenience of having a dining center and a music practice room in their building. All of Oliver’s rooms are designed as traditional two-person rooms, though students may arrange single occupancy on a limited basis. The hall is coed by wing.
Templin Hall

Templin is dedicated to students in the University Honors Program. Templin Hall rooms include two- and four-person suites, and two-person rooms with bath. Students involved in National Merit Scholars, National Achievement, Perfect Achievement, and National Hispanic Scholars have priority for living in Templin Hall. Upperclass students must maintain a 3.0 grade-point average.
