Scholarship Hall Application

Note: This form requires you to login with your online ID.

Essays should not include names, or other identifying information. You are encouraged to draft your essays in notepad or an equivalent plain text editor and paste the final document into this form to prevent data loss.

To submit a complete packet of materials:

Sign contract

Once you're admitted to KU and have a KU online ID, sign your on-line housing contract with your preference for residence halls or apartments.

Write essays

Log in with the link at the top of this page. Complete the application and two essays (once you've logged in, the form should appear just below the financial aid information below) demonstrating your commitment to the cooperative philosophy and diverse community. The questions you'll see (limit your answer to 2,000 characters) are:

1. The quality of KU's academic, cultural and social life is heavily influenced by the unique life experiences, talents and cultural traditions each student brings to campus. How will you contribute to and prosper within this rich environment?
2. What two or three activities have most shaped you into the person you are? How?

GPA, test scores

Your GPA and test scores are reviewed for academic achievement. They were part of your Admissions application and you don't need to re-send them.

Financial Aid

Your FAFSA is reviewed to assess financial need. It was part of your student financial aid application and you don't need to re-send it. Applicants can be considered without completing FAFSA.
