What brought you to KU: The big school atmosphere and vibrant spirit and tradition was what brought me to KU. Once I was on campus I really felt at home within the Housing Department. I knew that the other professionals within the department would push me to grow and become a better professional all while providing support and friendship.

What are important qualities needed to be successful here: In order to be successful at KU you need to be willing to venture out of your comfort zone. The department will push you to try things that you haven't done before or don't feel super confident with in order to help to make you a well rounded professional. I have done a lot of work with social justice and have been able to help develop systems and programming to push others to do the same.

Where is your favorite place on campus or in Lawrence: My favorite place in Lawrence is Cielito Lindo! This is a fun Mexican restaurant located in downtown Lawrence. There is a lot of great food and energy.
