What brought you to KU: I initially did not apply with KU Student Housing, but going through HEGA Days allowed me the opportunity to interview. During the interview, it became apparent that the staff was really kind and made me feel comfortable when we interacted.

Where is your favorite place on campus or in Lawrence: My favorite coffee shop in Lawrence is 1900 Barker. I enjoy the local festivals that are always happening. I also love spending time at the Lawrence Arts Center and the Lawrence Humane Society.

How you are able to live authentically here: Lawrence allows everyone the opportunity to explore, meet new people, and encourages them to go out and expand their comfort zone while experiencing something they might not have before.
