What brought you to KU: When looking at different schools for my Master’s, I knew that I wanted a professional experience that would supplement the material that I would be learning in the academic program. After reviewing what KU Student Housing had to offer through its graduate assistantships, I felt that this would be an experience that would fully prepare me to transition into work as a full-time professional in the field of student affairs.

What is your most exciting experience working with KU Student Housing: The relationships that I have formed with undergraduate staff members that I have supervised has been a very rewarding experience. Seeing them grow and develop both within their roles with Student Housing and outside of it has been an enjoyable experience to be a part of.

Where is your favorite place on campus or in Lawrence: I really enjoy spending time on Massachusetts Street. With a large selection of places to eat and shop at, Mass Street has something for everyone year-round.
