What brought you to KU: I received my masters degree from KU while working an assistantship within KU Student Housing, upon graduating I left KU and took a full time job at another institution within housing. During my time away from KU I saw a department and a culture withing KU Student Housing that was evolving and I knew I wanted to be a part of it, again. I returned to KU Student Housing this past year and have been loving my experience.

What is your most exciting experience working with KU Student Housing: My most exciting experience working here at KU within housing has been the autonomy given to the Complex Directors to create the community they work with into an inclusive and welcoming environment. This has been the most exciting experience so far because I have been able to see the needs of our residents and create learning opportunities for them outside of the classroom.

Where is your favorite place on campus or in Lawrence: My favorite place in Lawrence is the top of the Oread Hotel during the day. It has the most beautiful view of campus and Lawrence while also allowing for a great photo opportunity.
