How to pull in a specific roommate

Thursday, April 4, 2019

Here are instructions you'll need if you have a specific roommate. The roommate with the lowest group number should be responsible for the room and dining plan selection for the group.

Please note: As students self-assign or are pulled in as roommates, any remaining spaces in a room, suite or apartment are available for selection by other students. KU Student Housing retains the right to assign or reassign any space. Students may reenter the self-assign process to seek a space or building change.

Here are screenshots that will help you during the on-line room selection. Further information also is available here

Remember, if you only have one roommate preference but want to live in a four-person suite, simply look for a half-full suite and select. Get to know your new roommates during orientation or the summer. You can always find their information by returning to the housing portal.
