Self Hall, on the north end of the complex that includes Oswald Hall, Daisy Hill Commons and Self Hall, is named for Madison "Al" and Lila Self. Its rooms include two- and four-person suites, and private bedroom with shared bath. Self is part of the freshman-focused Daisy Hill and is reserved for newly admitted freshman only. Rooms are single gender by suite, not by wing. Self Hall hosts the KU Engineering Learning Community.
