Front desk service hours and mail delivery at winter break

Service hours have been set for front desks that will remain open and staffed during winter break.

From Nov. 25 through Dec. 12, four front desks will be fully staffed:

  • Daisy Hill Commons (located between Self and Oswald Residence Halls) is open 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
  • Stouffer Apartments are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Jayhawker Towers Apartments open 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
  • McCarthy Hall apartments will be open on basketball game days only from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m.

From Dec. 13 through Jan. 25, Daisy Hill Commons will not have front desk service. These front desks remain in operation:

  • Stouffer Apartments open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Jayhawker Towers Apartments open 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
  • McCarthy Hall apartments will be open on basketball game days only from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m.

MAIL AND PACKAGE SERVICE:

If residents receive mail or packages between Nov. 27 and Jan. 25 in a hall in which the front desk has closed, the items will be delivered to Stouffer Apartment’s multipurpose room and residents will receive an email notification. Residents can pick up their mail or packages from noon to 7 p.m., Nov. 27 through Jan. 25 in Stouffer.

The mailroom will be closed on Dec. 24 and 25, and Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. Fully staffed front desks in all buildings will resume when resident begin returning on Jan. 25 for spring semester. Mail operations will shift back to each individual hall.
