KU partners with Apogee to provide internet service in most residential buildings. Their service includes:

  • Reliable internet service, with 100 Mbps download and 100 Mbps upload speed per user, per device
  • 10 Devices included per user account
  • Stream HD videos, online, gaming and file share.

Apogee MyResNet is the high-speed Wi-Fi network in Student Housing. It's capable of accommodating up to ten devices per student, for streaming music and video, as well as online gaming.

To make sure you’re connected, follow the steps below.

Set Up Your Account – Mobile, plus PC or Mac

  1. Connect to “MyResNet Start Here” from your available wireless network.
  2. Open a browser to access the portal.
  3. Once you have your account set up, please forget "MyResNet Start Here" from your list of wireless networks.
  4. Select "MyResNet-5G" from your list of wireless networks and enter your password.

  • Wired internet service is not available in Stouffer Place Apartments and Downs Hall.
  • Ethernet cables are not provided by Apogee.

Hawker, HERE, and Sunflower Apartments use Midco

  • Reliable internet service, with speeds ranging from 35 Mbps to 100 Mbps per user, per device
  • Stream HD videos, online, gaming and file share. 

To make sure you’re connected, follow the steps below.

Sunflower Residents: find their apartment number on the WiFi networks and enter the password. The password for all Sunflower residents is "jayhawk!" 

Hawker Residents: Set up their Wifi (one router per apartment is included) using the instructions included in the router package. Residents sharing an apartment should communicate to each other the password that they choose.

Naismith Hall uses Pavlov Media

  • Reliable internet service with 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz SSID
  • Choose which frequency works best for you.
  • Stream HD videos, online, gaming and file share.

To make sure you’re connected, follow the steps below.

Select your Network: 5G Naismith Hall or Naismith Hall

Password: Secure Without Password

  1. Type pavlovgo.com in the URL
  2. On the Welcome Screen, Select I AM A NEW USER, then START REGISTRATION.
  3. Follow the prompts to enter your information. If everything on the confirmation screen is correct, click FINISH.
  4. You are now registered, and will receive a validation email. 
  5. Add additional devices by accessing the MY ACCOUNT page.
