KU has partnered with Boldyn Networks to provide internet service in most residential buildings.

Their service features:
  • Reliable internet with speeds of 100 Mbps download and 100 Mbps upload per device.
  • Up to 10 devices included per user account
  • Supports HD video streaming, online gaming, and file sharing.

Boldyn MyResNet is the high-capacity Wi-Fi network for Housing & Residence Life, allowing each student to connect up to ten devices for streaming music, video, and online gaming.

To make sure you’re connected, follow these steps:

  1. Connect to “MyResNet Start Here” from your list of available Wi-Fi networks.
  2. Open a web browser to access the portal, or access the portal here
  3. Set up your account using your mobile device, PC, or Mac
  4. Once your account is set up, forget "MyResNet Start Here" from your list of Wi-Fi networks.
  5. Connect to "MyResNet-5G" and enter your password.

  • Wired internet service is unavailable in Stouffer Place Apartments and Downs Hall.
  • Boldyn Networks does not provide Ethernet cables.

Hawker and HERE Apartments use Midco

  • Reliable internet service, offering speeds from 35 Mbps to 100 Mbps per user, per device
  • Enjoy HD video streaming, online gaming and seamless file sharing. 

To make sure you’re connected, follow the steps below.

  • Hawker Residents: Set up their Wifi (one router per apartment is included) using the instructions included in the router package. Residents sharing an apartment should communicate to each other the password that they choose.

Naismith Hall uses Pavlov Media

  • Reliable internet service with 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz SSID
  • Choose which frequency works best for you.
  • Enjoy smooth HD video streaming, online gaming and easy file sharing.

To ensure you’re connected, follow the steps below:

  1. Select your network: 5G Naismith Hall or Naismith Hall
  2. Password: Secure Without Password
  3. Type pavlovgo.com in the URL
  4. On the Welcome Screen, select 'I AM A NEW USER' and click 'START REGISTRATION'.
  5. Follow the prompts to enter your information. If everything on the confirmation screen is correct, click 'FINISH'.
  6. You are now registered and will receive a validation email.
  7. To add more devices, visit the 'MY ACCOUNT' page.
