Standby List (Available May 4, 2026)

If on-campus housing reaches capacity, a standby list will open in your myKU Portal on May 4, 2026. The standby list is NOT a housing contract or a guarantee of housing. We anticipate housing will be nearing capacity when room selection ends for incoming students on June 26, 2026. If vacancies remain, Housing & Residence Life staff will contact students on the standby list. Students who receive an offer will have 24 hours to respond via their KU email.

  1. Visit the myKU login page.
  2. Log in with your KU online ID and password.
  3. Select "Services."
  4. Log in to housing.
