Your Roadmap
Housing & Residence Life Handbook
Welcome to Housing & Residence Life where we build learning-centered communities through individual support and respect. This handbook is designed to help you understand what it means to live on-campus. We cover everything from your contract and policies to student rights and more.
Submitting a Service Request
Our Facilities and Operations team is here to help. Service requests can be submitted online for many maintenance issues such as flooring, furniture, and heating or cooling. Immediate maintenance issues such as flooding and broken doors or windows should be reported to Senior Staff. In case of emergency, dial 911.
Room Change Requests
Residents may request a room change through their myKU portal. Students may not move to another space without an approved move offer from Housing & Residence Life. Please contact your RA or Complex Director if you need to change rooms in an emergency situation.
