On-Campus Student Leadership

Three Leadership Opportunities
Interested in planning events and making connections in your residence hall? Want to advocate for your on-campus community and help create positive change? Any KU on-campus student who is interested in a student leadership position can serve in any of the following three organizations: Residence Hall Council, Residence Hall Association (RHA) or National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH).
Residence Hall Council
Serve as the voice and advocate for your residence hall community and be the hall community’s representative for the Residence Hall Association (RHA) General Assembly meetings. Hall Council appointments/elections for President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer are taking place from September 9-13, 2024 in each residence hall community.
Residence Hall Association (RHA)
The governing body of residence life student leadership. Members serve as the voice of on-campus residents with the main goals of large campus programming & hall improvements. RHA elections will take place September 23–30, 2024.
National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH)
An organization that values recognition and service. Members are voted into governing board positions. Individuals in this organization strive to provide recognition for individuals who have contributed to the advancement of college and university housing. NRHH governing board positions are currently filled but general membership is still available at this time.
