Important Update for 2026–2027

Naismith Hall is a privately owned property that has operated as part of KU Housing & Residence Life through a master lease agreement.

The master lease for the property will conclude at the end of July 2026. As a result, Housing & Residence Life will not offer Naismith Hall as a housing option for the 2026–2027 academic year

• The building will continue to be used for summer camps and conferences through Summer 2026.
• Naismith Hall will not be available during room selection for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Students seeking on‑campus housing for 2026–2027 may choose from Housing & Residence Life’s other residence halls, scholarship halls, and on‑campus apartments. Students can explore all available options at All Communities
