Instructions for Aug. 12

To sign-up for your arrival time:

  • Login to your myKU portal
  • Click the green “login to Housing”
  • Under, “What would you Like to Do:” select “Fall Move-in Checklist”
  • Click the “Sign-up for Move-in Arrival Time” button

Arrival times are limited, if you don’t see your preferred arrival time it could be that it’s no longer available. Residents can change their arrival time up to 24 hours before their scheduled time.

Unloading

The parking spaces along Indiana street in the front of the building will be blocked off for 20-minute unloading.

Do not bring U-Haul Trucks or Trailers connected to vehicles. These will not fit in the unloading areas. Only one vehicle per resident will be permitted in the unloading area.

Check-in & Key Pick-up

  • Check in/Key Pickup will be located at the HERE front desk.
  • For security purposes, only the resident will be able to pick up keys. If all your requirements have been met, you will be given your keys and parking pass at this time, and you can start moving in.

Parking Information

Students living in HERE Apartments have the option to purchase a parking pass with HERE Apartments or purchase a yellow parking pass through KU Parking and Transit.

To purchase a parking pass through HERE Apartments, email info@herekansas.com with the following information:

  • First and Last Name
  • Unit Number
  • Vehicle Make, Model, Year, and Color
  • License plate number and State
  • One of the parking options listed below
    • Valet Garage (20 exits/month) - $55/month
    • Valet Garage (Unlimited exits/month) - $100/month

Before you arrive for move-in

  • Update your registration information in your Student Housing portal.
  • Review your “Fall Move-in Checklist” located in your Housing portal to find your mailing address and your assigned bed space.

Reminders & what to expect

  • You MUST have a KU Card to enter housing buildings and use your meal plan. Make sure you have completed the steps to get your KU Card so it is available at your hall when you arrive and you avoid delays in your check-in process.
