HERE Move In

Instructions for Aug. 20

Arrival

• Find your move-in time in the arrival schedules.
• At your arrival time, start at 11th Street and Indiana
• Staff will guide you to the unloading zone.

Unloading

The parking spaces along Indiana street in the front of the building will be blocked off for unloading. Once you receive your keys at the check in station, proceed to the unloading lane. Bellhops will be available to help unload your vehicle and take it to your unit.

Do not bring U-Haul Trucks or Trailers connected to vehicles. These will not fit in the unloading area. Only one vehicle per resident will be permitted in the unloading area.

Check-in & Key Pick-up

• Check in/Key Pickup will be located on Indiana Street at the front of the building. You will be required to show a picture ID when checking-in. 
• For security purposes, only the resident will be able to pick up keys. If all your requirements have been met, you will be given your keys and parking pass at this time, and you can start moving in.

Parking Information

Students living in HERE Apartments have the option to purchase a parking pass with HERE Apartments or purchase a yellow parking pass through KU Parking and Transit.

To purchase a parking pass through HERE Apartments, email info@herekansas.com with the following information:

• First and Last Name
• Unit Number
• Vehicle Make, Model, Year, and Color
• License plate number and State

• One of the parking options listed below
  • Valet Garage (20 exits/month) - $55/month
  • Valet Garage (Unlimited exits/month) - $100/month

Before you arrive for move-in

• Update your registration information in your Student Housing portal.
• Review your “Fall Move-in Checklist” located in your Student Housing portal to find your mailing address and your assigned bed space.

Reminders & what to expect

• You MUST have a KU Card to enter housing buildings and use your meal plan. Make sure you have completed the steps to get your KU Card so it is available at your hall when you arrive and you avoid delays in your check-in process.

Hawk Week activities will begin on Friday, August 23.
