About HERE and Hawker Apartments
During the 2023-24 academic year, KU Student Housing will be leasing select rooms in two nearby apartment complexes to help meet the high demand for housing. Both HERE and Hawker apartments are conveniently located within walking distance of campus and are on the campus/city bus route. Both also provide in-unit bathrooms, in-unit kitchens, and are fully furnished. Students assigned to live in HERE and Hawker will have access to all KU Student Housing staff and support services.
At Hawker Apartments, each bedroom has its own private bathroom and queen-sized bed. Every unit also features granite countertops in kitchens and bathrooms, walk-in showers, full-size washer and dryer, closets, and private balcony. Hawker also has underground heated parking.
Parking is included in the Hawker room rate and each resident will have a designated parking spot. This pass is only good for their assigned space at Hawker Apartments. Students are eligible to purchase a yellow parking pass through KU Parking and Transit.
