Overview

Spring residents will be able to list their preference of housing options between our ten residence halls, twelve scholarship halls, or four apartments. If your housing option is not available, you will be assigned to a space.

Your application is submitted through the myKU Portal, not the Housing & Residence Life website. Newly admitted students must establish their KU online ID to access the portal: MyIdentity Account Setup.

Log in with your KU online ID and password.
Select "Services."
Log in to housing.

Key Dates for Spring 2025

Important dates for incoming Spring 2025 students
October 16, 2024	Spring 2025 Contract Opens.
November 1, 2024	Early Arrival Request Form will be available in the housing portal. Early Arrival Requests are required for any student wanting to arrive prior to January 16, 2025. Requests will be reviewed and approved dependent on space readiness. There is a fee of $30 per night from arrival date through January 15.
December 23, 2024	Spring Assignments begin.
January 16, 2025	New Spring Residents begin moving in.
