Winter weather forecast - Halls open early

Wednesday, January 16, 2019
This message was sent to all KU Student Housing residents on Wednesday, January 16:

A weekend winter storm is forecast for our region. To allow flexibility for your safe return, all KU Student Housing residence and scholarship halls will open a day early, beginning at 9 a.m., Friday, January 18. KU Student Housing apartments are already open to residents to return at any time.

Safety while traveling should be the first priority for all students. Please check the forecast and road conditions here: http://www.kandrive.org/kandrive.

As a reminder, spring semester classes begin Tuesday, January 22. You might consider returning after Sunday when the storm has left this area.

All residential dining plans will be active on Friday; Mrs. E’s will be open with reduced hours. All residential dining centers reopen Saturday. Check https://union.ku.edu/hours for details.

Your safety is our top priority. We look forward to seeing you back on campus!
