Are you a newly admitted student to KU for the Spring 2024 semester?

Spring residents can now submit their housing application and contract through their myKU portal. You will be able to indicate your housing options between our nine residence halls, 12 scholarship halls, and three apartments, and add your roommate preference. If your housing option is not available, you will be assigned to either GSP or Hashinger Halls. Here are some helpful dates to keep in mind as you complete the housing process:

 

 

 

 

Important dates for incoming Spring 2024 students
October 12

Spring 2024 Contract Opens.

December 13

Early Arrival Form for students participating in International Student Orientation or New Student Orientation goes live.

Early Arrival requests will be reviewed once a student has received their assignment. January 8th is the earliest arrival date that can be requested for approval.

Housing & Residence Life Applications and Contract will no longer be available, and students will be eligible to join the waitlist for on-campus housing. Assignments will be based on space availability. 

December 20

Spring Assignments begin.

January 11

New Spring Residents begin moving in.

Apply in the myKU portal.

Your application is submitted through the myKU portal, not the Housing & Residence Life website. If you have not established your KU online ID, first visit the MyIdentity Account Setup page.

  1. Visit the myKU login page.
  2. Log in with your KU online ID and password.
  3. Select "Services."
  4. Log in to housing.
