About Pearson
Pearson Hall is a men's scholarship hall and is home to about 50 residents. The Pearson men can usually be found hanging out on their large custom deck that residents designed and built. Pearsonites are known for their late night “Breakfast Schmekfast,” and for hosting the entire scholarship hall community at Pearson Rock-a-thon.
Pearson Hall opened in 1952 and was upgraded in 1992.
Pearson residents traditionally host several events throughout the year, and their front porch becomes a music venue during Rock-a-thon. The hall has an academic resource center with computers and study aids. Wireless internet and laundry are provided.
Pearson features traditional two-person rooms and a community bathroom. The beds are lofted and have extra long twin mattresses (36" x 80"). Rooms also are furnished with window blinds, a built-in dresser, closet, and a desk with desk chair for each resident.
