Guest Housing

KU Student Housing offers two beautiful options for overnight guests of the university: New Stouffer Place Apartments, 1835 Ousdahl Road, or the University Guest House behind Miller Scholarship Hall.

Guest apartments are fully furnished, including television, internet, bed linens and towels, and basic kitchen tableware, cookware, and utensils. For overnight guests the sponsoring KU department should submit this online form. For questions, contact housing@ku.edu or call 785-864-4560. University Guest House is a charming stone building with a large living room, lovely oak floors, and well-lighted spaces. Each room has windows with blinds. The bathrooms contain bathtub and shower. The kitchens contain dishwasher, stove and refrigerator. All units are equipped with a gas forced-air furnace for heating and central air conditioning. The ground-floor apartment, apartment 1, in the University Guest House has tile floor instead of hardwood and the bathroom shower does not have a bathtub.

Stouffer Place Apartments opened in August 2018 and are brand new. A wing of the apartments is reserved for guests of the university who are 18 or older; the remainder of the units are for KU students. Each apartment features four private bedrooms and each has a private bath. Shared commons areas include the full kitchen with high countertop for meals and dishwasher, and living room. Apartments are fully furnished and contain an in-unit washer and dryer.
